What to expect and tips/insight

Hello everyone, ive been in the construction field for 5 years(all residential) and i am at the backend of obtaining an associates CM degree. I just got an internship at a fairly large commercial GC. I will be mentored by a superintendent and my duties will be QAQC and WIP inspections. What are some tips and insights so i can learn/contribute as much as possible with my time. It is a six month internship and they regularly hire interns after graduation, I’d like to increase my chances at this. TIA.

The John Deere construction and forestry equipment dealer has outgrown its 3.5-acre site in Naperville, Illinois, and is renovating two former auto dealerships on 11 acres in Lisle, where the Benck family started its business. The new site will allow the company to double its building space to 75,000 square feet over the current headquarters, once renovations are completed.
