This is totally fucked up. I have been working a temp job the last two weeks, basically unloading a small warehouse of excess inventory (cabinetry) and demoing and rebuilding the shelving. Everyday there has been different people between 3 and 10 workers per day. As we were re stacking a pile of metal beams (approx 70-80 lbs each) and wood one guy in the morning, one guy who just showed up today, stacked about 20 metal beams in one row high against a c-can. I knew the stack was unsafe, but I didn't knock it over, as I should have. Later on I am pulling wood out of the area but staying away from the stack. Next thing a good guy who had been there most of the week, started working next to me. I had totally forgotten about the unsafe stack (I just wasn't thinking). Next thing you know the stack of metal beams falls on his right leg.
:TL:DR Working temp job, some guy stacks heavy beams single file high against a container, later on someone gets their leg broken.
