Gentlepeople of /r/construction
I was recently hired by a firm after leaving a company I was at for 2 1/2 years. Currently, building a 3 storey low-rise building from ground up to interior finishing. During the course of this project, it has come to my attention that they are running behind on payments 120+ days overdue for amount upwards of $200k CAD. This is the case for at least 6 trades who have voiced this concern to me. I am embarrassed to be in this position, never have been here before. It is ruining my credibility as a site super. It is only my strong onsite relations that are buying me any grace.
Should I be worried?
