Career options/ improvement for carpenter

Hello all,

I'm a bit stuck in a job that pays well for now but will not last a lifetime. So i did a school for furniture making, finished when i was 30 years old, and started my own company

(its called self employement in Europe where i live, its very easy and can vary from taking whole projects and hiring people to just working for a hourly wage)

Anyway now the demand for construction capenters is high, i believe all over the world, so also where i live in the Netherlands. It is easy to make money now, however i don't think i can do this the rest of my live. But i find it hard to figure out realistic options, so nothing happens really. Just work 5 days a week 7am till 4pm go home watch tv, sleep and work. Boring live. The work is ok, there is still ( a lot) to learn, i'm doing renovation of monumental buildings now.

In the past i was a poor artist, taking my own furniture projects, promising cool stuff too clients and making things come true. Thats was hard work, also because my skills and experience where mroe limited in this time. But the clients where usually happy. The money was just enough to pay rent & food. But i grew tired of spending so much time (unpaid) negotating, taking in new jobs, so that when i started a job of like 3 days paid it would take me 2 weeks effective including everything. Furniture projects are cool but it is hard to make constant money.

But i miss the creative thinking.

I like to make drawings for example, learned google sketchup to work out furniture ideas, also did some projects on fusion 360.

What could be some good career options, maybe something you can work on next to my current project, or just something completely new, like new career or study??

Any ideas welcome, thx in advance!

The gleaming red prototype represented this model’s debut, and plenty of dealers and contractors got a peek of what’s to come with this machine, which is the first of its kind, according to Toro. “This machine won’t be out until the late part of 2018, and why we’re introducing it here is because it’s our 20-year anniversary of the Dingo product line,” Kevin Conry, senior marketing manager at Toro Siteworks in Bloomington, Minnesota, had explained during the show held February 19-21. News reports say the strike has brought many large construction projects to a halt or slowed them.
