AECOM India is seeking a Field Engineer for a power transmission project in Himachal Pradesh. It is a project management and construction supervision project and is supporting one of our major clients in power sector in India

Field Engineer

Job Description:
Supervision of works, all concreting work in sub station and associated power line.
Keep proper records of contractor’s activities and work progress.
Assist the project manager and the core team with the review of the contractor’s work.
Strictly monitor the progress of work for timely completion of the project.
Supervision , scrutiny, approving the final setting out by the contractor.
Directing field engineers for issuing site instructions.
Preparing monthly progress reports.
Final inspection of works.
Will assist the project manager in identifying the possible reasons for delay and possible mitigation measures.




Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy
Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices.
Ability to effectively delegate
Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationship.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
Capable of interacting/interfacing Cross Functional Teams for the multiple component the Project.
BE/BTECH – Electrical
Minimum 1-2 Years of total experience {Supervision of high voltage power transmission systems (132kV and above)}
5 projects in total and at least 2 projects of design and supervision (132kV and above) in Asian countries
Excellent communication skills
Prior experience in similar projects.
