Chevy’s Silverado RST Off-Road combines street looks with trail capability

2019 Chevy Silverado RST Off-Road

Unveiled as a concept truck at this year’s SEMA show, Chevrolet says the 2019 Silverado RST Off-Road is one of many ways owners can customize its latest model flagship pickup.

Though it’s called a concept, it’s not that hard to create one of these bad boys for yourself, given that you’ve got the cash to do so. The truck is built around the new Silverado RST trim which provides “sporty, monochromatic” styling and a cold-air intake system for the 5.3-liter V8 under the hood.

On top of that, Chevy has added a new Off Road Appearance Package that will be offered through dealers. This includes a sport bar, off-road assist steps and a soft, roll-up tonneau cover. It also has the following Z71 equipment: Rancho monotube shocks, hill descent control and skid plates.

Chevy has also equipped this truck with a 2-inch suspension lift from the factory, a 40-inch LED light bar and off-road sport lamps by Baja Designs, and 18-inch off-road wrapped in Goodyear trail tires.
