Chasing a construction management degree with a pipefitter union apprenticeship.

I just wanted to know the odds of me finding a good job as a hvac technician and now a apprentice on a 5 year apprenticeship in the pipefitter union earning my plumbing license and a few other licenses. I also goto school part time as a construction management student almost a juniors. With these credentials what kind of career would I be looking at. I would like to be. Project manager and own my own company in the future. I really would like to travel and save that per diem money and come back and buy my house cash once I'm done traveling. Any opinions on how the union will help supplement my degree.
