Starting at a side handyman job for some extra money. What am I getting myself into?

Hey y'all I've been wanting to start working at a side job to make extra money and learn new skills that could eventually translate into a side business of my own or experience in case I'm out of work. I work a 2 weeks on and off at my job so finding someone to work with me is my first hurdle. Here is the craigslist ad.

Currently Looking for individuals and small companies to join me in working on Foreclosed Homes for a few National Companies. We have been in business for over 7 years with great success in Louisiana where we are based. Minimum requirements

Crews needed we have an abundance of work available right now in the Lafayette area, software, training and materials provided. 1. Inspections

  1. Lock changes

  2. Clean outs and Debris Removal

  3. Maid Service

  4. Evictions

  5. Repairs

  6. Lawn Maintentance

REQUIREMENTS: - Must have dependable transportation(truck and trailer) , basic hand tools and a smartphone. · Must be 18 years or older. · Must have a drive to get the job done. . This business can be very profitable if you like to work. Please understand that we pay on a weekly basis, every Friday.

I got in contact with the poster and explained what I was looking for. I was told all I need is an air compressor (I have a 6 gallon) and a staple gun. I have a drive to learn but little construction experience. I assume I'm going to be doing framing. Any insight is appreciated thanks!

Credit: NCDOT Environmental groups have filed a petition challenging the planned path of a future outer loop around Raleigh, North Carolina, due to concerns about the effect on nearby waterways that are home to endangered mussels. The $2.2 billion toll highway, an extension of N.C. 540, would complete the southern portion of an expressway outer loop. The construction contract for the first phase was awarded in December , and the N.C. Division of Water Quality recently issued an environmental permit for the project.
