I am having a second interview next week with the owners of a small local company that has been in business for about 15+ years. The position would be a project manager over several 5 to 10 man crews. They suggested in the first interview that they want to pay a little less than industry norm with a production bonus. They did about 2 million in business last year and this year should be about 50% more. I have extensive 15+ years in this type of experience in my own businesses and the opportunity to help them grow is what is interesting about this job. So my question is has anyone ever had an arrangement such as this and what would the % of production be? Salary would be around 60K.
